The Maine Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons holds general membership meetings annually in the spring and fall, as well as a national educational program in the fall.
2021 Spring MSEPS Business Meeting & Educational Program – Friday, May 7, 2021
The Spring meeting of the Maine Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons will take place Virtually via Zoom on Friday, May 7th. Please login between 12:30pm and 1:00pm and visit with your colleagues prior to the start of the Business Meeting. The Business Meeting will run from 1:00pm – 2:00pm. Immediately following the business meeting we are delighted to have 2 hours of CME. The first hour (2:00pm-3:00pm) presentation will be by Christine L. Hein, MD, Chief Wellness Officer and Associate Director of Emergency Medicine, Maine Medical Center giving a talk on The COVID-19 Crisis Response: Shining a Light on the State of Healthcare Provider Wellbeing. The second hour (3:00pm-4:00pm) presentation will be Peter A. Netland, MD, PhD, Vernah Scott Moyston Professor and Chair, Department of Ophthalmology, University of Virginia School of Medicine speaking on Glaucoma, Cataract, and MIGS. 20th Annual Downeast Ophthalmology Symposium – September 24-26, 2021
The 20th Annual Downeast Ophthalmology Symposium is scheduled to take place at the Harborside Hotel and Marina in Bar Harbor September 24-26, 2021. The topics this year will be Glaucoma, Cataract/Refractive, and Retina. More information will be posted as it becomes available, but for now, save the dates! This meeting is open to ophthalmologists across the country.
